Violet is one of our cherished girls bred by us, rehoming her is a deeply emotional and difficult breaking decision. She has been raised within our home from birth and has always been a loved member of our family. As we have now retired from breeding, we are seeking an exceptionally suitable, loving, and stable forever home where Violet’s wellbeing will be the absolute priority.

 

Why we are seeking a new home for Violet

Violet has become increasingly unsettled living within a multi‑cat household. She is happiest when receiving calm, focused, one‑to‑one attention and thrives in a peaceful environment. For this reason, Violet will be best suited to a home with no other pets, ensuring she can relax and bond with her new family.

 

About Violet

​

Violet is a 5‑year‑old retired GCCF‑registered Ragdoll queen with the sweetest, most affectionate nature. Now neutered and fully health‑tested (HCM and PKD clear), she is up to date with all her vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments, and will remain an indoor‑only cat as is appropriate for her breed. Violet is incredibly people‑focused and thrives on gentle interaction, calm routines,and being close to her humans. She has a soft, steady temperament and a loving, companionable presence which makes her an ideal match for someone seeking a devoted cat who will happily share their home and heart.

Ideal Home Requirements

Violet will thrive in a home that offers:

 

• No other pets

• A quiet, predictable environment

• Daily interaction, affection and companionship

• Someone experienced with cats

• Someone with patience, stability and able to offer long‑term commitment

While Ragdolls must remain indoor‑only, secure outdoor access can offer daily valuable enrichment. Violet enjoys spending short, supervised periods in a cat proofed garden space as part of her daily stimulation although she is very much an indoor cat it ensures her outdoor time is safe and controlled.

Priority will be given to adopters who have a garden and would be willing to cat‑proof it in the future, or create a catio or enclosed outdoor area at a later stage; or, if you do not have a garden, would be able to provide safe indoor stimulation and enrichment through daily gentle engagement activities, climbing and resting areas, scratching options and other adaptations that support a Ragdoll’s need for calm physical activity and mental engagement.

Adoption Process

​

Anyone wishing to express interest in Violet will need to make contact and will be asked to complete a pre‑screening rehoming questionnaire. This questionnaire must be completed and reviewed before any viewing or meeting is arranged.

 

This process helps us understand your:

 

• Household setup

• Experience with cats

• Lifestyle and daily routines

• Expectations

• Suitability for a retired Ragdoll

 

We are in no rush to rehome Violet and will only proceed once we are confident we have found the most suitable, stable, and loving forever home. The adoptive rehoming fee for Violet is £400.

 

Ragdolls are highly social, people‑oriented cats who require time, interaction, and a calm, stable environment, therefore please ensure you have thoroughly researched the breed and fully understand their needs and temperament before applying.
